ORLANDO CULINARY ACADEMY NAMED 2007 SCHOOL OF THE YEAR, FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF POSTSECONDARY SCHOOLS
Orlando, Fla. (Oct. 8, 2007) – Orlando Culinary Academy was awarded 2007 School of the Year by the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC). The award, which was presented recently at the annual FAPSC conference, recognizes schools for their excellence and outstanding contributions to career education.

The Academy is associated with the Paris cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu, and offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality & Restaurant Management and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. Le Cordon Bleu Schools North America, with 14 affiliate schools throughout the United States, is the largest provider of quality culinary arts education. Few institutions possess the distinguished reputation of Le Cordon Bleu, which established its first culinary school in Paris in 1895.
Since January 2002, more than 4,300 students have received Le Cordon Bleu training and preparation for careers in international hospitality and culinary arts from the Orlando Culinary Academy.
